Video Analysis of Handheld Fan Motor Assembly—Jiuju Motor’s Automated Assembly Line

Handheld fan motors are designed to be compact, lightweight, quiet, and energy-efficient. The entire assembly process is carried out in stages, focusing on core small components such as micro stators, rotors, magnets, and bearings. In the initial stage, stator winding, insulation protection, and magnetic alignment are completed, with strict control over assembly precision to prevent magnetic field misalignment. Next, the rotor is pressed into place and bearings are pre-installed, using wear-resistant miniature bearings to reduce operating noise. Subsequently, the housing is assembled, leads are secured, and proper insulation is ensured to prevent short circuits. During the middle stage of assembly, dimensional and magnetic flux pre-inspections are added to eliminate semi-finished products with assembly deviations; in the final production stage, comprehensive testing of no-load speed, current, and noise is conducted. The entire production line addresses the challenges of feeding micro-components and reduces human error through simple automated fixtures. While controlling assembly costs, it ensures the core user experience of handheld fans: long battery life, quiet operation, and stable airflow.
