动电机是电动汽车的 “心脏”，负责将动力电池的电能转化为机械能驱动车轮，相较燃油发动机具备效率高、功率密度大、噪音低、零排放等优势。当前主流技术路线分为三类：永磁同步电机转子嵌入永磁体，靠定子旋转磁场同步驱动，效率可达 95% 以上，功率密度高、控制精准，是乘用车主流方案，但稀土成本高、存在高温退磁风险；交流异步电机转子为笼型导条，依靠转差感应生矩，结构简单可靠、适配高速场景，常作为四驱辅助电机，缺点是低速效率偏低；开关磁阻电机基于磁阻最小原理工作，转子无绕组无永磁体，成本低、耐温性强，多用于商用车，但转矩脉动与噪音问题突出。
在整车高压系统中，动力依次经动力电池、高压配电盒、电机控制器、驱动电机、减速器传递至车轮。其中电机控制器负责将直流电逆变为三相交流电，实现转速与转矩控制；减速器承担降速增扭功能。安装形式主要有三种：集中式布置于车桥中央，结构简单成本低，是市场主流；轮边式分置两侧驱动单轮，布置灵活；轮毂式将电机集成于轮毂内，传动效率最高，但簧下质量较大，应用范围有限。
驱动电机的核心性能要求包括高功率密度、宽调速范围、高效区间广、高可靠性及低 NVH 表现，通常采用水冷或油冷散热。选型并无绝对最优解，核心在于场景匹配：乘用车优先选择永磁同步电机兼顾效率与体积；四驱辅助及高速工况适配交流异步电机；商用车等对成本与耐温要求高的场景，开关磁阻电机更具优势。
