Axial flux motors for fans are subject to strong axial magnetic forces, which can lead to challenges in mass production, such as misalignment between the stator and rotor, uneven air gaps, and abnormal noises caused by brush-against-casing. Jiuju Automation’s production line employs a servo-force-controlled, gradual-release magnetic attraction structure, paired with a vision-based positioning system, to precisely control component parallelism and consistently maintain a uniform air gap at the micrometer level. It integrates a single workstation for magnet assembly, directional magnetization, and closed-loop press-fitting, thereby eliminating issues such as misaligned magnetic poles and magnetic imbalance. Equipped with online air gap inspection and surface magnetic field detection processes, the system screens out defective products in real time. The production line’s modular design accommodates rapid changeovers for multiple models of axial flux fan motors, ensuring consistent assembly precision. This effectively reduces vibration and noise in finished products, improves mass production yield rates, and meets the demand for low-cost, large-scale production of fan motors.

The shipping area outside the workshop was a hive of activity. After multiple rounds of full-machine commissioning, simulated mass-production validation, and factory quality inspection, a Jiuju DC motor automatic assembly line completed all factory-out procedures, was loaded onto trucks on schedule, and is about to depart for the customer's production base, helping the customer's project advance production implementation on plan.
Axial-flux motors feature high power density and a flat design, but their mass production is constrained by three major bottlenecks: heat dissipation, axial force, and consistency. This video analyzes the engineering challenges involved.
There are significant differences between manual and automated motor assembly in terms of precision, efficiency, consistency, and cost. The video uses a side-by-side comparison to illustrate the value of upgrading to an automated production line.
Jiuju Automation integrates processes such as winding, magnet insertion, magnetization, balancing, and testing to provide complete automated motor assembly line solutions, helping customers maintain stable production and improve efficiency, backed by over 256 patents and the ISO 9001 quality management system.
A fully developed automated motor assembly line can replace a large number of workers, with production capacity and consistency far exceeding those of traditional methods. This video explains the challenges of manual assembly and the key advantages of automated production lines.
